When you sponsor WordCamp St. Louis 2015, you help the whole St. Louis metro area build new things, support new ideas and grow the economy.
Would you believe WordPress now powers more than 20% of the web? So it’s not just designers, developers and writers who rely on WordPress. Chances are, you can think of dozens of business owners of all sizes, who all use WordPress to power their businesses.
Which means WordCamp is a great place to connect with professionals — and promote your business, too.
So. What’s a WordCamp, anyway?
A WordCamp is a volunteer-organized, community-sponsored conference that brings together local technology professionals, designers and marketers, businesspeople, web enthusiasts, vendors and regular people to get together, make connections and learn something new about WordPress.
This will be the fourth one we’ve had in St. Louis.
The previous three events have seen over 250 attendees each — some from close by, some from around the Midwest and even a few from the far corners of the nation.
Locally, our WordPress Meetup has over 500 members and holds two different monthly meetings. The first Monday of the month, WordPress developers get together in the Delmar Loop to talk about code. On the third Wednesday of the month, all sorts of WordPress users get together at 1500 Washington to step up their game, whether that means learning to install WP on a server or deciding on the right plugins to keep a site secure.
It’s all just weeks away!
If you’re even thinking about sponsoring, it’s time to act – and fast. The really good spots are strictly limited. And mid-March is nearly here!
