Thank you to all our Volunteers, Speakers<\/a>, Sponsors<\/a>, Organizers<\/a> and especially you, the attendees, for coming out and making this year’s WordCamp St. Louis one to remember! There were plenty of great talks and discussions being had throughout the two days but it doesn’t have to stop there. St. Louis has a large and helpful community that holds meetups, shares their knowledge, and provides help year round. If you missed a talk this year, want more information on a certain topic, or just want to talk shop with local WordPress-ers there’s a few places to scratch that itch:<\/p>\n

Join the St. Louis WordPress Community on Slack<\/a>. Slack is a chat app where the St. Louis WordPress community hangs out. Here you’re free to ask questions or discuss whatever WordPress-related topics that cross your mind.<\/p>\n

Attend a Meetup<\/h2>\n

The St. Louis WordPress Community<\/a>\u00a0currently has two meetups per month:<\/p>\n

The St. Louis WordPress Meetup<\/h3>\n

The St. Louis WordPress Meetup happens the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Cambridge Innovation Center<\/a>, right down the street from Ikea. This meetup starts with Q&A around 6:30p.m. and gets in to the main topic of the evening right around 7:15p.m. This meetup primarily focuses on topics relevant to WordPress users.<\/p>\n

WordPress Meetup West<\/h3>\n

WordPress Meetup West happens the 4th Monday of each month at OPO Startups<\/a> on Historic Main Street in St. Charles. This meetup starts at 6:30p.m. and primarliy focuses on topics relevant to WordPress developers.<\/p>\n

If you want to hear the local crowds thoughts on a specific subject you can submit to the Meetup Discussion<\/a><\/p>\n

Come Celebrate WordPress’ Anniversary With Us!<\/h2>\n

WordPress will be 15 years old May 27th, 2018!\u00a0On Monday, June 4th we’ll be having our meetup from 6:30p.m. to 8:30p.m. at OPO Startups<\/a> on Historic Main Street in St. Charles.<\/strong> Instead of sitting and listening to a presentation, we’re going to celebrate 15 years of WordPress!<\/p>\n

You’re invited! We’re providing a cake and some light refreshments, but we encourage you to bring a snack to share with the group! There will also be special 15th anniversary swag available during the event. We’ll also be sharing our party photos and love for WordPress with the rest of the world via the hashtag #wp15.<\/p>\n

You don’t have to be an expert at all things WordPress to speak, you just need to know something that could help others in our community.<\/p>\n
