In this talk I will show attendees a powerful method of deploying WordPress sites using Git, Rocketeer and other tools. I will walk through the basics of setting up both a local development environment and a remote linux environment. Next I will provide some tips on how to optionally setup the WordPress directory and config structure for better use in a multi developer\/server environment. Then I will go over some Git basics and how we will be using Github and Rocketeer. Finally I will demonstrate how to setup and use Rocketeer to deploy the WordPress site to the remote server.<\/p>\n
This talk is perfect for any WordPress developer who maintains more than a couple sites or for any agency that specializes in WordPress solutions that might be looking for ways to improve their deployment workflow.<\/p>\n
