Since the polar vortex has decided to make March in St. Louis feel more like January, we’d like to reassure our fellow WordCampers that the parking arrangement should minimize the time between your warm car and a nice hot cup of Kaldi’s coffee. However, there are a few things you should know.
First off, for those of you are going to be using other methods of transport to get to WordCamp, WUSTL has a brochure with a map that includes MetroBus and MetroLink locations, bike racks, and more located here.
Parking is free, but you do need to make sure you park in a “Yellow” zone. If you park in the “Red” zone or a “commuter” spot you will get a ticket.
There are a few levels you can park on, but no matter where you end up finding a spot make your way to the set of stairs marked on the map.
From there, it’s a short walk across Throop Dr (see the image at the top of the post) and once you’re inside, there will be signs guiding you to the registration. If you have any questions feel free to contact us or send us a tweet at @WordCampSTL
Yay… first time EVER on very specific instructions and pics… believe me I’ve been to enough WordCamps that hunting down an entrance was like playing “Where’s Waldo”…lol. Thank you!
Great! thanks for the detailed information. I am looking forward to tomorrow!
