It’s been a few months since we updated the site, but we haven’t forgotten about you! We’ve setup or own community site at stlwp.org and have been blogging like crazy over there. Go check it out.

We’re working hard to get all the sessions up on wordpress.tv and will hopefully have them to you shortly. In the mean time, you can checkout a few photos taken during WordCamp St. Louis on Chris Koerner’s flickr. If any other shutterbugs took photos during the day please send them our way!
We’d also like to remind folks that we have two monthly WordPress Meetups here in St. Louis.
The first meets the third Wednesday of the month at goBrandgo! downtown near Cherokee Street. It’s a general WordPress meeting that covers all topics from getting started, to best practices around workflow, security, best plugins to use, and more.
The second group meets the first Monday of the month at Integrity in the Delmar Loop near the Tivoli Theatre. It’s our developer meetup and is a great place to get your geek on and learn about the inter workings of WordPress.

Here at WordCamp St. Louis HQ we’re all recovering from an amazing and fun weekend. The feedback was really positive.
It’s mind-blowing to think about all the different people we got to meet, the diversity in the sessions, and the feeling of being part of a community of good, honest people.

We all know how vital staying caffeinated is to writing code, blogging, or whatever you do with WordPress is. As we announced a few weeks back, our local coffee connoisseurs Kaldi’s is one of our sponsors and is providing coffee (both fully caffeinated and decaf) for the whole day.
Fun fact:you could walk to the original Kaldi’s location and back during WordCamp lunch if you wanted to.
In keeping with Kaldi’s and Washington University’s commitment to sustainability, we’re encouraging you to bring a re-usable travel mug with you to WordCamp to enjoy the delicious brew.
We will have some disposable cups available, but their so small (only 8oz’s) that you run the risk of missing half of the awesome talks running back to refill them. If don’t want to miss out but you’ve forgotten your mug at home don’t fret, Kayak’s (part of the Kaldi’s family) is only a 10 minute walk from WordCamp and they sell mugs.
Also, if coffee isn’t really your “cup of tea” don’t worry, we’ll have both hot and iced tea as well, but again you’ll be stuck with the tiny cups if you don’t bring your own.
WordCamp St. Louis 2014 is tomorrow! It’s exciting to see the diverse group of people coming from near and far. We’re really looking forward to meeting you all in person.

Since the polar vortex has decided to make March in St. Louis feel more like January, we’d like to reassure our fellow WordCampers that the parking arrangement should minimize the time between your warm car and a nice hot cup of Kaldi’s coffee. However, there are a few things you should know.
